Currently based in San Francisco and Detroit, we started Cosmic Crates 8 years ago as a mixtape project dedicated to the art of OG deejaying - always all vinyl, blended together on rotary mixers and recorded live to cassette tapes.

No sync buttons. No edits. No bullshit.

But when it comes to rocking a party - we're vinyl lovers, not luddites. Equally as eager to push the future forward as we are to honor the past. Comfortable throwing down on any setup.

From Coachella to Detroit, we've been fortunate enough to play deep B2B sets at some of our favorite festivals and parties, and for our favorite independent radio stations like BFF.fm, Berlin Community Radio, and Dublin Digital Radio. We also produce the Cosmic Tapes mix series and make guest mixes for homies like Selekta, White Light, LANDR, Ain’t No Big Thing, Jac Department, and We Play Wax... with much more on the way.
